Our Team

Sarah Garcia

Sarah is a Mobile Lab Scientist for the Science Education Department. She joined the team in April 2019 and is very excited to be part of an awesome team at Seattle Children’s Research Institute!

Sarah is very interested in infectious diseases and epidemiology. She graduated from the University of Washington with a B.S. in Public Health in 2019 and plans on earning her Master’s in Public Health with an emphasis in Epidemiology. She loves being able to share her passion for STEM with students on the Science Adventure Lab and see their excitement when they get to learn something new.

As a Mobile Lab Scientist, Sarah is responsible for leading classes onboard the Science Adventure Lab and preparing materials and equipment for students to use.

When Sarah isn’t on the Science Adventure Lab, you can find her lost in a book, spending time with friends, or having a picnic in the park.
